ORIENTATION DAY

Held on 9th Aug, 2019 venue Aravali College of Engineering & Management, Jasana Faridabad

The orientation program for the newly admitted B. Tech, BCA, BBA and MBA students and their parents was held at Aravali College of Engineering and Management on 9th and 10th August 2019. The program was organized with the vision of giving insight to the students and parents, into the teaching methodologies and co-scholastic activities that are an integral part of college curriculum

Commencing with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by our Chief Guest Mr.Manish Pathak, followed by the welcome speech of our Director Sir, Dr. Suresh Kumar Jindal, made the students familiar with the decorum to be expected in the college premises.

The Head of the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Ms. Manu Singh, acquainted the students and their parents, with the college policies and rules and regulations and the decorum to be maintained. She also introduced the Heads of all Departments and the concerned faculties to the students, followed by an introduction of the Student Support Staff including the Accounts Department, Registrar, Librarian, and other officials. The students were also given a virtual tour of the college, to make them familiar with the infrastructure.

A welcoming gesture, a musical play on college life was performed by the seniors to give newcomers glimpse of what to expect out of college life, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all alike. The ice breaking session was a treat for both students and parents. Everyone participated in the light exchanges of questions and answers between teachers and students. Dean Sir speech at the end was the perfect closure to the program as he talked about including the teaching of life skills that are beyond the academic curriculum.

The lunch was an informal platform of bonding between the parents and teachers. After this fruitful meeting the parents and students were in high spirits.
