Corporate Interface and relations stand high on the agenda of Aravali College of Engineering and Management. Our endeavor is to keep the needs of the industry in perspective and in turn make the learning more pragmatic and applicable. ACEM has been successful in adding more and more companies in the list of its recruiters. The Student career development cell at ACEM tries to bridge the gap between analytical and functional skills by providing the best fit to the students. Our students are ready to undertake any challenge from the first day of their professional life. The continuous efforts of Career Developement & planning comprising of experienced members of faculty, selected student managers and Head of Department, have built a fruitful and long lasting relationship with various organizations. The cell maintains regular interaction with the corporate houses through Guest Lectures, industry visit, CEO forums, Corporate get-togethers, Alumni Interaction etc.Career Developement & planning helps students by counseling them to choose an appropriate career depending on their aptitude and interest. The centre also takes the responsibility of conducting events like Personality Development Programs for the students, Conferences & Seminars and Education & Career Fairs etc.

Our earnest effort throughout the year is to help students develop all the qualities lying dormant in them. The students are made to attend Employment Enhancement Skills programme in addition to their regular classes. The sessions are conducted meticulously by expert faculty and external resource persons who attempt to hone innate skills of the students. The different subjects which are taken up in the programme are public speaking skills, listening and talking skills, presentation skills, grooming skills, social skills and etiquettes etc. This course prepares the participants to handle all kinds of interview panels with success. A strong emphasis is laid to enhance Emotional Questions of the students so that they know how to handle stress, failures and negativity in them.

While preparing for internships and placements, students face two crucial problems, not being aware of different career avenues and lack of interpersonal or soft skills. More often than not, students are unable to express themselves during group discussions or interviews and as it goes for such selection procedures the lesser you express, the lesser you impress. When students apply to a company, they not only act as individuals but a s representatives of the institute. CDC would equip the students with necessary skills to be able to improve their personalities and represent the institute in a better way. offers an all-round career solution to the students. Centre guides the students to decide and pursue their dream careers in different sectors be it engineering, IT, Analytics, Consulting , research and development, Operations etc . The whole placement process is organised and executed by this centre . The campus interviews are held under the supervison and jurisdiction of this centre and relevant feedback is obtained fom the industry . Career Development and Guidance Centre works hard to arrange full semester industrial internship , which is stipulated under the academic curriculum . The centre has kept a close liaison with many companies in the country. The centre also arranges career talks for dissemination of knowledge regarding the employment opportunities in the industry related to the relevant fields and interest of the students . Centre keeps record of the students who undergo internships and the companies which come for recruitment. In addition Finishing School / Soft Skills Development Workshops are also organised to improve the communication skills of students.

Industrial visit has its own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree. It is considered as a part of college curriculum, mainly seen in Engineering & Management courses. Objectives of industrial visit are to provide students an insight regarding internal working of companies. We know, theoretical knowledge is not enough for making a good professional career. With an aim to go beyond academics, industrial visit provides student a practical perspective on the world of work. It provides students with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. It gives them exposure to current work practices as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at college. Industrial visits provide an excellent opportunity to interact with industries and know more about industrial environment. Industrial visits are arranged by ACEM, Faridabad with an objective of providing students functional opportunity in different sectors like IT, Manufacturing and services, finance and marketing. Industrial visit helps to combine theoretical knowledge with industrial knowledge. Industrial realities are opened to the students through industrial visits.

Industrial visit is considered as one of the tactical methods of teaching. The main reason behind this- it lets student know things practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. Moreover, it gives exposure from industry point of view. They also provide students a good opportunity to gain full awareness about industrial practices. Through industrial visit students get awareness of new technologies. Technology development is a main factor, about which a students should have a good knowledge. Visiting different companies actually help students to build a good relationship with those companies. We know building relationship with companies always will help to gain a good job in future. After visiting an industry students can gain a combined knowledge about both theory and practical. The biggest advantage of such visit is that student gain a real world prospective from such visit, which joints them into a action and push them to plan there careers.

Centre encourages visits to the industries by the institute students and arranges industrial problems to be worked out by students as part of their projects . It also takes suggestions from members of the Industry regarding designing / changing of curriculum .
